Powertex Workshop – Seated Figure

The studio was humming today with a Powertex Workshop – the Seated Figure, and I spent my day with the nicest women!

Thank you Marg and Nancy for making the trip! Judy also drove about an hour to get here. Fortunately Sam didn’t have far to drive :).  THANK YOU, Ladies, for such a wonderful day.

This is the Full-day Powertex Seated Figure workshop, from 10 am to 5 pm.

After several hours of work we paused and enjoyed a yummy lunch ( Thank you, Costco 🙂 ) and then worked to complete our sculptures.

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Wow! The ladies did a splendid job and I think they are all thrilled with their creations; they can be proud of the fact that they made their entire sculpture by themselves! Bravo!!

To wrap up I would like to give a special award :

And the ‘Most Beautiful Bosom’ award goes to…. Marg! (her sculpture – silly)

Powertex Angel & Stone Art Workshop

Powertex Angel & Stone Art workshops are held in my studio and this is definitely my most popular class.

For the first time I accepted a young girl into this class and the results speak for themselves.  Mother/daughter classes have definitely gained in popularity and I enjoy hosting them.  I cater to the adult demographic, but once in a while young students come along who are eager and very capable of doing the work.Powertex Angels & Stone Art

My next Angel workshop will be Sunday, January 24th, 2016.
